Durham Teachers’ Night 2007

Durham Western Heritage Museum
Omaha, Nebraska
Friday, October 12, 2007
5:00 to 9:00 PM

Join us at the Durham as we host the area’s largest free resource expo for educators, with more than 70 exhibitors, performers, presenters, hands-on activities, and Smithsonian teaching demonstrations. The evening will also include a cocktail reception, entertainment, and door prizes.  This spectacular event gives area educators the opportunity to meet with regional museums and organizations as well as educators from the Smithsonian Institution. Guided tours of the museum’s permanent collections and the traveling exhibition The Enemy Within: Terror in America – 1776 to Today from the International Spy Museum will also be offered throughout the evening.

Teachers Night is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska with additional support provided by the Robert H. Storz Foundation and Thomas and Cynthia McGowan.
