This docent-led gallery tour features the paintings of George Catlin, who traveled across the Plains in the 1830s, visiting fifty Native American tribes. More than 280 of these works are currently on view in the Renwick Gallery’s Grand Salon. Catlin’s unique record of Native American life is considered one of the prized collections at the museum.
