Spending a summer in Seoul before returning to her studies in Paris, the heroine of Sung Ji-hae's debut feature is torn between a love affair with an emotionally distant married man, the demand of her family, and her own desire for independence. This closely observed story of loneliness and longing heralds a new voice in Korea's growing list of women directors. Part of the 2007 Korean Film Festival D.C. Two free tickets per person will be distributed at Meyer Auditorium one hour before screening. (2006, 82 minutes, Korean with English subtitles)
