Frequently cited as one of the true classics of Korean cinema, Lee Man-hee’s ambitious production conveys intimate moments of camaraderie and friendship among a band of soldiers during the Korean War. Two free tickets per person are distributed at the Meyer Auditorium one hour before the screening on a first-come, first-served basis. Part of the Korean Film Festival D.C. (1962, 110 minutes, Korean with English subtitles)
