Ongoing Exhibition The African Presence in Mexico: From Yanga to the Present Ongoing Exhibition , 10 am - 5 pm Anacostia Community Museum The span of history covered in this exhibition begins with the transport of African slaves to Mexico in the sixteenth century. The long “African presence” is found in music and dance, language and cuisine.
