 Question: What do Jay-Z, Rakim, Edgar Allan Poe, and Shakespeare have in common? Answer: Rhyme. In this workshop, teachers learn ways of introducing poetry through rap music. Adam Bradley, author of The Book of Rhymes: The Poetics of Hip Hop, leads the discussion. Free resources are included. Teachers are asked to bring no more than two students to share the experience.
