Poet and artist Elizabeth Woody (Navajo-Warm Springs-Wasco-Yakama) is the author of three books: Hand into Stone, Luminaries of the Humble, and Seven Hands, Seven Hearts. She received the 1990 American Book Award and the 1995 William Stafford Memorial Award for Poetry from the Pacific Northwest Bookseller’s Association.
