March  24  -  March 25 Thirza Defoe Saturday,  March  24  -  Sunday,  March 25 , 12 noon and 3:30 pm National Museum of the American Indian, Rasmuson Theater Actor and dancer Thirza Defoe (Ojibwe–Oneida Nation of Wisconsin) tells traditional stories, demonstrates hoop dancing, and performs as Sacajawea in excerpts from the play Stone Heart. Presented in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition Identity by Design: Tradition, Change, and Celebration in Native Women’s Dresses.
