Dread History:
The African Diaspora,
Ethiopianism, and Rastafari

Wall mural, Kingston, Jamaica
This mural stands in the front of a recording studio in Kingston. The
international trade in tapes, records, and CDs has been central to the spread
of Rastafari ideology. Rastafari is the only socio-religious movement that
has been globalized primarily through popular culture.
