Teen Workshops
Teens become “media artists” using the latest in mobile and digital technologies. They create their own mobile scavenger hunts, curate their own exhibits, produce podcasts, videos, and blogs to document what they’ve discovered, and document and share their work on a social network. They learn new ways to collaborate and communicate as they explore the riches of the Smithsonian. Each workshop focuses on a particular theme and a particular form of mobile technology. Each is limited to 20 participants.

Educator Workshops
Educators learn to use digital media to engage young people with the tools they are already using in their lives outside of school. You’ll create media projects based on Smithsonian resources—digital tours, podcasts, wikis, and more. The sessions are hands-on and collaborative; educators work together with digital experts and Smithsonian staff.
