Did you know the Smithsonian has a Latino program or that the Folklife Festival lives on throughout the year? Or that more than 1,400 classroom-ready, standards-aligned resources are on its website? Smithsonian staff will explain these and hundreds of other opportunities for local teachers to enliven their teaching and enrich their students’ learning at Smithsonian Teachers’ Night.
Smithsonian Teachers’ Night welcomes educators of all job descriptions: teachers, curriculum specialists, principals, librarians…. However, due to space restrictions we can not accommodate children or other guests.
Registration
Online Registration for Teachers’ Night at the National Air and Space Museum is now closed. You can still join us. Walkup registration will be accepted.

Directions
The National Air and Space Museum is located at 6th Street and Independence Avenue, SW. Street parking begins at 6:30 PM and is extremely limited. The closest Metro stations are L’Enfant Plaza and Smithsonian.
Security Information
At the National Air and Space Museum all visitors are required to walk through a metal detector. Those who are unable to go through the metal detector will be hand-screened with an electronic wand by security personnel. Bag checks will be conducted via an x-ray machine.
